Chief Operating Officer of Facebook Meta Company Sheryl Sandberg has resigned from his position after 14 years on the social networking platform, this month after he announced his decision. The disclosure was carried out in the submission of meta before the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 1.
In the SEC archiving document, Meta said that Sandberg had been replaced by Javier Olivan as Chief Operating Officer.
Sandberg, 52, will continue to function as a member of the council and will receive compensation as ‘Non-Carean Director in accordance with the compensation policy of the Company Director’.
