Xiaomi Corporation on Tuesday announced Augmented Reality (AR) glasses in China. The company’s Mijia glass camera has a camera sensor on one side with a display component on the other, reports by Livemint.
AR glasses are currently open to pre-order through the Crowdfunding Xiaomi-Youpin platform. The retail price of glasses is 2699 yuan (₹ 31,362), and the price of special crowdfunding 2499 yuan (₹ 29,038).
Mijia glasses cameras are only available in China so far. Xiaomi claims that this device weighs 100 grams and includes a 50 megapixel main camera on the left side and the second 8 megapixel Periscope telephone camera. It’s just that the secondary camera offers OIS, Livemint report added.
Xiaomi shows that the Mijia glass camera can reach 5x optical zooms and up to 15x hybrid zooms. He also claims that this device is intended to combine smart images and augmented reality technology.
Glasses will have a Snapdragon 8-Series chipset.
Magnetic filling is at 10W. Costs from 0 to 80 percent are likely to take 30 minutes. The Mijia glass camera has a 1,020mAh battery reserves.
For peak brightness, AR glasses are equipped with a Sony micro screen including 3,000 Nits brightness, Livemint report also said.
Mija glass cameras also have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It will have dual-band wifi and Bluetooth 5.0.
