Sheryl Sandberg officially steps down as Meta COO. 5 things to know about her

Chief Operating Officer of Facebook Meta Company Sheryl Sandberg has resigned from his position after 14 years on the social networking platform, this month after he announced his decision. The disclosure was carried out in the submission of meta before the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 1.

In the SEC archiving document, Meta said that Sandberg had been replaced by Javier Olivan as Chief Operating Officer.

Sandberg, 52, will continue to function as a member of the council and will receive compensation as ‘Non-Carean Director in accordance with the compensation policy of the Company Director’.

Here are five things you should know about Sandberg, which plays an important role in Meta’s success.

1. Sandberg joined Facebook in 2008. He played an important role in the platform to be a giant that earned revenue of almost $ 120 billion ago.

Sandberg will be questioned for up to five hours, according to the submission at the San Francisco Federal Court.

5. Sandberg is also a writer, after writing the book ‘Lean In’ in 2013.
